Beginner Modern American Canasta

During the spring and summer months we will be operating on custom and convenient Canasta Class schedules you create. This is open to all, please pick 4 dates that you intend, each class builds on the next. Please email - mahjonggclass@yahoo.com For full details please contact me.

Times: 10:00am - 12:00pm EST or 1:00pm - 3:00pm ESTor time convent for you

Cost: $175.00 per person for 4 session 2 hours each total of 8 hours

Small class size: maximum 4 people
(please pay prior to class to complete registration)

Venue: Home (pet/smoke free) of Christine Blackford or your home (extra fees for travel)

For individual lessons one on one Cost:$400.00

For students who have already learned how to play Canasta but need a refresher, this one day class is for you. Maybe life got in the way, now your missing the game and would like to get back to playing. There is no need to take a 4 week classes again. If you're not sure where else to turn to and are not confident enough to walk into any game site as you feel like a newbie, I have a solution. I am offering a one day class in my home in Howell (Ramtown section, Brick boarder, exit 91 Parkway) or virtual

We will review how set up and start the game, brush up on the rules of the game, 7s & Aces with tips and helpers and, finally, begin a supervised game of Canata.

We will continue to play American Modern Canasta and will emphasize on strategies and techniques designed to improve your game and to help you play more defensively. Classes will cover strategies, developing and sharpening skills, while still providing ample time for play to test your new skills and have fun.

Note: This class is designed for players who are already comfortable with the American modern Canasta rules, and who have been playing consistently for a minimum of 6 months, or who have completed a Beginner American Modern Canasta series.

Strategy Class

One on One
1 hour - $40.00

Coach-n-Play virtual via zoom - Perfect if you are already comfortable with the basics and are ready to sharpen your skills. Lots of practice, build conference and your improve your play through supervised play online via realcanasta). This is built around your needs and questions. Fee $40/individual session/ 1hr or prepay for individual Five-1 hour sessions for $180 (10% discount).

Each course has a required fee listed. All fees must be paid in full at time of registration.

REFUND POLICY with registration through Instructor - Mah Jongg Class

Workshop and series of classes/session and event cancellations required a 48 hour email notice before the workshop or by the first class of the series takes place or event for a refund.
Workshop cancellation requests must be requested by email to: mahjonggclass@yahoo.com
Absence to a workshop or series or event is non-refundable.
Please note each venue has their own refund and cancellation policy if you register with them, please know their policy and contact them.

CANCELLATION POLICY BY INSTRUCTOR - Mah Jongg Class

Classes, workshops and events could occasionally be canceled by the instructor. If your event is canceled you will be notified by email, and you will receive a full refund or full credit towards another class, workshop and event if you choose.
